Happy 4th of July!

Today I spent the 4th not riding on the Miss Orem float in the Provo parade like i have the past 2 years; but in Tel Aviv, Israel on the beach with 26 of my friends! Does life get better? We came back to Jerusalem had a BBQ, with a decent rendition of apple crisp and vanilla ice cream, a "carnival" where I wasted Katie Packer in a bobbing for apples competition! and to top it all off sparklers! So no we didn't celebrate with massive fireworks like these (it's not Israels Independence Day...) but I feel like it was an overall success! I just hope our country can keep it together long enough for my kids in 20 years to have the chance to celebrate our countries freedom.... enough said. 

I hope you all had a marvelous day filled with picnics and fireworks! The only thing that would have made it better would have been if my family was here to play with me! I miss you guys!
