Happy Birthday Grandpa J!!

1st post how exciting is that?!
I've been inspired by the blogs of many a friends and though I would offer what little insight I have to the world...
Yesterday we celebrated Grandpa J's 70 birthday! It was awesome! Cheyenne and I went to my families for the party. After some delicious pizza and peach cobbler (Hunter your the man!) My family gave grandpa one of his presents. It was the "Top 70 Reasons we Love Grandpa" Hunter and Hogan my little brothers read them off, it really made me realize how much I love and admire my Grandpa. He is such a good man, born and raised in Provo, he raised sheep with his grandpa and Dad in Heber. He lost his mom when he was only 12. Fortunately he found my beautiful Grandma at BYU after his mission, they have lived in Provo since raising my dad and his brother and 2 sisters, and now spends allot of time playing with 18 1/2 grandchildren (congrats Keith and Lisa!).
When I think of Grandpa I think of compassion. He truly loves the lord and shows it through his every action. He loves the time he spends serving in the temple every thursday, if grandpa can get up that early so can I. Honestly I have never heard him raise his voice or speak unkindly of/to anyone. I am in awe of the way he treats my grandma. I know he would give anything for her happiness. They have the sweetest relationship, I envy it and hope someday to have the same level of companionship with my spouse. I will always treasure the time we spend in Cayman this summer with my grandparents! Those Stingrays love grandpas kisses! Happy Birthday Grandpa! Thank you for your Christ like example and always reminding us to... "Only take what you can eat!" Love you!
